  About Licensing Link Ltd.

Karen Spitz is a true pioneer of the licensing industry as she has been at executive level for over 35 years. Some of her greatest highlights came during her time spent at Licensing Corporation of America (LCA) and then afterwards once LCA was acquired by Warner Bros. Consumer Products.

At Warner Bros. she created extensive licensing and marketing programs for all the big studio movies such as Batman, Superman, Gremlins as well as for hit television shows such as Dynasty, Dukes of Hazard, Tiny Toons Adventures, Animaniacs, and Adventures of Batman & Robin and initiated the Looney Tunes trend in apparel.

  • Managed and developed the New York office of Warner Bros. Consumer products as Vice President and was responsible for $64 million in royalty income in 1994.
  • Licensed Major League Professional sports, as well as College and NASCAR with Looney Tunes generating over $100 million at retail in 1994.
  • Identified the appeal of the virtually unknown TAZMANIAN DEVIL and was instrumental in developing him into the No. 2 Looney Tune character today, as well as TWEETY for the girls market.
  • Increased the Looney Tunes apparel and accessory volume by 1200% in 1993, and another 200% in 1994 for Warner Bros. Consumer Products.
  • Recipient of the Earnie Award in the children’s apparel industry and retail trade for the successful Looney Tune program in 1994.
  • Highlighted in “License! Magazine’s” March 1998’s issue titled The Influentials, spotlighting the most powerful people in the Licensing Industry as well as in April 2001’s issue of the “Licensing Book” highlighting the Deal Makers of the licensing industry.
